Start by cleaning and washing the courgettes, cut them into two pieces and steam them for 10 minutes.

While the courgettes are cooking, clean, wash and dry the basil and grate the pecorino cheese.

Once the courgettes are ready, place them in a blender and add pine nuts, basil, some of the oil and a pinch of salt. Add the remaining oil a little at a time to obtain a homogeneous pesto to which the grated pecorino cheese is added.
