The second recipe resulting from the collaboration between the Dispensa di VOCE Aimo e Nadia and Destination Gusto is a first course with classic flavours, with the addition of the personal touch of the young and skilled chef Sabrina Macrì. In fact, this first course combines tomato and basil, a timeless combination of two ingredients that cannot be missing in the pantries of Italians; together with tuna, olives and pistachios, making it an incredibly tasty and at the same time refined dish.

In a pot, bring the water to the boil, add salt and cook the pasta for about 15 minutes.

In a saucepan, heat the basil sauce, add the drained pasta and a drop of oil. Mix the ingredients well with a spoon.

To make the dressing, in a bowl combine the tuna, previously drained, the crushed olives, chopped pistachios, oregano, basil, lemon zest and lemon juice. Lastly, add a dash of raw oil and mix.

Serve the mezzi paccheri with the sauce on a soup plate and place two spoons of the dressing on top of the pasta. Decorate with fresh basil, a grating of lemon zest and a drizzle of oil. Enjoy!
